Since before January 2021, the supply of raw materials across the globe has struggled to meet demand and, due to the resulting shortage of supply, prices for metals and plastics have increased substantially to all our suppliers and subsequently to Excel.

We have tried to hold off this increase for as long as possible, but the scale of supplier increases over the last few months is now too great for us to absorb. This, of course, has been a very difficult decision for Excel as we have always tried to maintain our prices throughout a calendar year regardless of what increases we may experience, but these substantial increases from our suppliers unfortunately couldn’t be ignored any longer.

To this end, as of July 1st 2021 a surcharge of 3% will apply to all products in our 2021 price guide
This increase will apply until the end of 2021, at that time we will review our pricing for 2022.

Other Important Price List Updates

Vertical Blinds – The Fully Welded Option has been an overwhelming success and due to unprecedented demand we are unable at this stage to make this the default option. The Weight & Chain surcharge has not been applied as a result of this change.

Pleated Blinds – Shadow B/O Eclipse Fabric is in the incorrect price group, this should be Range 3 + 60%

Intu Blinds – Shadow B/O Eclipse Fabric is in the incorrect price group, this should be Range 3 + 10%
