It is safe to say that florals never go out of favour, and while white, cream and grey plains remain perennial favourites the botanical trend has clearly further boosted sales and flowers, plants, leaves and all things nature are king. Home & Gardens has also reported a rise all things pretty, frilly, and floral into spring 2023 which we can see echoing in sales of our more traditional patterns.
The on trend Maximalism style for interior design has crossed over to window blinds and, surprisingly for something so bold, it is Florabundance in Apple that has taken the crown as the bestseller so far and the Damson colourway also appears in the top 10.
Pappus in Shadow and in Lagoon are also popular for big motifs. Both this and Florabundance are FR Blockout fabrics so it could be demonstrative of a shift for decorative blinds in bedrooms over curtains. Full of design, but also keeps the light out and the heat in which contributes to more energy efficient rooms.

Border prints also dominate. A firm favourite print style over many years now, from the country cottage vibes with Flowerbomb to coastal design with Beach Hut. They are both doing just as well as we thought they would as all colours and variations of both appear in the top 10.
A fairly new entry into the top 5 however is Boasoft in Cotton, a sheer neutral fabric that pairs well in Multiple Cassette Roller Blinds as a shading Boasoft lets plenty of light filter through during the day, while allowing some privacy. In a multi cassette, a dimout or blockout fabric sits in front for further light control when needed, increased sales for sheer fabrics is indicative of a rise in popularity of variety in light control.

*Boasoft is not recycled but does carry the OEKO-TEX® standard 100 certification for Ecological Production
